jazzbedamned Can't choose a favourite. Each track has its own unique mood, making this LP a unique piece of work in its entirety. Excellent effort that perfectly showcases Gleb's musicality, technicality, and vast creativity.
Steve Cochrane

Steve Cochrane I’ve always had a fondness for music where piano and drums interact to become one. I swear some of the great piano concertos should have drums added to them. Though there are some vocals here and there, this is by and large an instrumental album. And being mainly focussed on piano, there are some quiet, introspective tracks, but it’s that piano/drum combo that really takes joyful flight.

This 2021 expanded CD edition of my first album featuring two bonus tracks taken from "poloniumcubes" musical diary. They were recorded entirely at home, within one night. (Therefore, the names contain dates)
For me, these tracks are like a post-script to the main story of the album. The first track (May 26th) is something like a transition to another dimension, from internal introversion to looking around.
And the track that follows (July 8th) is a complete outside view of what is happening, where each of us is just a grain in the general flow of the universe. It may sound intimidating, but it has its own beauty. And I wanted to convey this feeling that we are all part of a single whole, despite the problems and cataclysms around.
Unlike the primary material, these tracks sound calm and peaceful. And it seems to me that this is the organic ending of any long journey.

"Astral Architecture" by Mick Moss Ring the bell once more she said Come inside, come escape the rain Here the halls are in love, we've wed Dream the lines, come erase the pain Into the corridor we glide Never a worry in our head Pulling the silver cord behind Enter in reverence Here the walls carry blood, she said Be our heart, lubricate the veins Stay the course, its umbilical, It’s the structure of man The fabric of space in our frame Here, we are the body of light as we walk Reach the top of the stairs, she said Leave the floor, come levitate Do the halls still hear my footsteps fall On the boards? on the planes? Come on and levitate Pull me up though the air To that secret, hidden floor Here, we are the body of light as we walk Here we are the tissue of life in these walls Here, between the rafters I reside as before I'm still there…

"Confluence" by Steve Hogarth It’s beautiful inside if you can find a place where there’s a little space… I spent the late afternoon waiting for my bones to leave Drifting with the river Floating …ever so slightly, downwards I spent the late afternoon waiting for the spinning The spinning Where the rivers meet.

"Dreamland" by Lewis Carroll (excerpt) But here, in Dreamland's centre, No spoiler's hand may enter, These visions fair, this radiance rare, Shall never pass away. I see the shadows falling, The forms of old recalling; Around me tread the mighty dead, And slowly pass away.

"The Best of Days" by Steve Hogarth It all worked out Like I hoped it would …on the better days Who could have guessed?! Here come the best Here come the best of days And in a while I will fall Into your welcoming smile I have found a place Where the vacuum fills with life We forget the storm We forget the storm beyond our bubble Where the sea washes up flowers on the beach New years day New years day! It’s beautiful inside If you can find a place Where there’s a little space No one can find and ruin I’ve got a soul-mate She comes from the moon She’s hummin’ a tune only I can hear Sun-tanned and shining I will bathe in the light Swim in the warm air Run the four-minute mile I’ve got a soul-mate She comes from the moon Hummin’ a tune only I can hear Sun-tanned and shining I will bathe in the light Ride the winged horse. Run the four minute mile
